Moving on from Esports WRC to face a new challenge

Esports WRC season 3 has come to an end and I’m proud to say I finished 14th in the world, despite not competing in the last 4 rounds.

Congratulations to all the finalists and particularly Jon Armstrong for getting the win, my ESPORTS+CARS teammate Jonno for getting 4th, and my PS4 friend and only console finalist Mika Laitinen on getting 2nd.

I made the decision earlier in the season to step back from esports wrc as I stopped enjoying it so much. While I wish I could have competed in the finals I stand by that decision as being right for me.

While I stepped away from Esports WRC I couldn’t stop racing in some form so recently have been focused on competing in the GT Sport FIA series. It has been a lot of fun competing and practising with friends here in NZ while also bringing it’s own frustrations getting taken out through no fault of my own in a number of races. Now at the halfway point I sit 29th in the FIA Nations Cup, proudly 3rd in New Zealand.
With the top 30 qualifying for the final I have my work cut out for me but I’m facing that challenge head on 💪
