I’m still recovering from the long ass trip back but also still smiling cus my weekend at Highlands Motorsport Park was epic.
Still pinching myself struggling to comprehend I was paid and everything was paid for for me to go work at round 1 of the Toyota Racing Series in charge of our pro racing sim we had there for the weekend. It’s so cool seeing everyone really enjoying the experience on the sim trying out the highlands track they have been watching all day.
The Highlands track itself is so brilliantly maintained, one guy actually made the comment it was like a professional golf course which is not how I would describe any other track and track facilities I’ve been to.
Awesome to see my guys Peter and Igor going great guns in their respective categories. Love seeing them out there crushing it.
It was my first time at Highlands and I didn’t want to waste the opportunity so had to have a go on the karts, actually I had to have two goes 
The go kart track is the best I’ve ever experienced and I absolutely loved it. Managed to set a pretty quick time too so I’m not so quietly pretty pleased with myself.
Big shout out to Eathan who made the trip down with me, actually driving us the whole 5 hours there, and was so helpful in managing the sim over the weekend.
