Lamborghini are my favourite supercar so to get a blast in one around Hampton Downs was a very special moment. The driver, recognising me from the BMW Series, wasn’t holding anything back getting my full attention immediately on throttle down pulling out of the pits. It was epic.
Then I got to get behind the wheel of the Mustang for a few laps and see what driving with real speed around Hamptons feels like and that too was awesome.
The day was part of my prize from winning the 2018 Driven Championship at Big Boys Toys but also ended up being a chance for SliWill to film me in a race car as part of a piece he’s making for Re:News. Very fun to feel like a superstar for the day and crazy that this videographer I’ve looked up to online was now creating a piece about me.
